ELA & Theatre
- Scrap Paper
The PAIR Specialist should call out a specific word. Students should then write down a synonym for that word. The students are welcome to write down multiple synonyms. Students are then prompted to crumble their paper and toss it in a basket. The teacher and PAIR Specialist will read each response and discuss in class.
To integrate theatre into the lesson, have students discuss what they should do as an audience for the teacher and PAIR Specialist.
